Mr. Snegg is the Managing Partner of Berkeley Partners. Since 2005, through Berkeley Partner's affiliates, he has led the acquisition of almost 13 million square feet of  industrial real estate. Mr. Snegg has been instrumental in building Berkeley Partners into a premier institutional light industrial operator. Prior to founding Berkeley Partners, Mr. Snegg has held various officer positions at Snegg & Snegg LP, his family’s real estate holding company, and Workstream Inc. Mr. Snegg holds a BA from the University of California at Berkeley.

MATTHEW NOVAK PARTNER & CHIEF INVESTMENT OFFICER

Mr. Novak is a Partner at Berkeley Partners and serves as the Chief Investment Officer for Berkeley's series of industrial funds. Mr. Novak is also responsible for the Firm's overall operations, including acquisitions and asset management. Mr. Novak has over 22 years of real estate experience in asset management, acquisitions, dispositions, development, and construction.

He started his career with Arthur Andersen in San Francisco in the Real Estate Valuation Group. He then spent over five years on the investment management team for National Office Partners (a partnership of CalPERS and Hines) focusing on portfolio and asset management for over $1 billion of assets. Prior to joining Berkeley in 2012, Mr. Novak worked as a developer in the Bay Area focusing on entitlements, project management, and construction of infill development projects.

Mr. Novak is a member of the NAIOP, the Urban Land Institute.  Mr. Novak holds a BA in Economics from Cornell University.

ANDREW HOLMBERG PARTNER

Mr. Holmberg serves as a Partner at Berkeley Partners and is a member of the firm's Investment Committee.  Mr. Holmberg oversees acquisitions and asset management in the Northeast, and helps lead the firm's capital raising initiatives and overall strategy.  Previously, Mr. Holmberg worked at The Davis Companies, a Boston-based real estate investment and development company and Long Wharf Capital in investor facing roles. 

Mr. Holmberg began his career as an investment analyst at Landmark Partners, where he was involved with investing Landmark's series of discretionary funds into a variety of real estate-related opportunities globally.  Mr. Holmberg is a member of the Pension Real Estate Association and the Urban Land Institute. He holds a BA in Economics from Cornell University.

Ms. Sidhu is a Partner and serves as the Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer at Berkeley Partners. She is responsible for developing and executing firm strategy, in addition to providing oversight of fund management, financial planning & analysis, reporting, compliance, treasury, human capital, technology and corporate functions. She is also a voting member of the investment committee.

Prior to joining Berkeley Partners, she served as Vice President at Bank of New York Mellon in Alternative Investment Services, where she led the San Francisco practice of BNY Mellon’s fund administration business. Before that, she spent several years at Deutsche Bank in Asset and Wealth Management providing oversight to their Open End Diversified Core Equity fund (ODCE) flagship fund and other investment vehicles. She started her career at Deloitte in the Assurance practice with a diverse client base in retail, technology and financial services.

While not at work, Ms. Sidhu is a busy mother of two school age boys. She loves to travel internationally with her family and spends time volunteering for causes related to children with special needs. Ms. Sidhu is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA - inactive) in the state of California. She holds a BS in Business Administration and an MBA both from the Haas School of Business at University of California, Berkeley.

DOUG WERTHEIMER FOUNDING PARTNER , CHIEF COMPLIANCE OFFICER

Mr. Wertheimer is the Chief Compliance Officer of Berkeley Partners, and oversees the Firm’s legal relationships and advises on strategic decisions. Mr. Wertheimer also serves as a Partner at Industry Capital.

Previously, he was a successful entrepreneur with several well-known ventures in media and entertainment, consumer products and financial services. From 1999 to 2002, he was a founding executive with Size Technologies, an electronic payments sponsor acquired by First Data Corporation in 2006. From 1995 to 1999, he was a Principal in Mark Burnett Productions, where he played a critical role in the development and sale of the successful reality TV franchises “Survivor” and “Eco-Challenge”. In the early 1990’s Mr. Wertheimer served as Director of Business Development for early interactive television mover, Interactive Network.

Mr. Wertheimer holds an AB from Princeton University and JD from the UCLA School of Law.

Mr. Watson serves as General Counsel at Berkeley Partners. He has over 18 years of extensive real estate experience, and has overseen and/or worked on approximately over $1 billion of acquisition, disposition, leasing and financing transactions.

Mr. Watson started his career with Oakland, California-based Caldecott Properties, Inc. where he served as a top-producing real estate broker. Mr. Watson joined Berkeley Partners in January 2012 in the role of Director of Leasing & Acquisitions, and in that role and his current one, has worked on and overseen the closing of acquisition, disposition, leasing, and financing transactions across millions of square feet of industrial and commercial real estate.

Mr. Watson is an active member of the State Bar of California. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Legal Studies from the University of Miami and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami School of Law.

Ms. Johnson serves as the Compliance Officer for Berkeley Partners and is responsible for administering the firm’s compliance program. Ms. Johnson has nine years experience advising registered investment advisors on SEC and state investment advisory regulations and best practices as a Compliance Consultant. Prior to that Ms. Johnson was a Vice President at Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management and JPMorgan Private Bank.

Ms. Johnson holds a BA in History and a BS in Anthropology from the University of Utah and a Masters of Accounting from Golden Gate University.

Prior to joining Berkeley Partners, Ms. Watson was responsible for investor coverage at Carlson Capital, a Dallas-based hedge fund. Prior to that, Ms. Watson worked as a consultant at Deloitte and Riveron Consulting.

Ms. Gonzalez serves as the Vice President of Acquisitions at Berkeley Partners and is responsible for managing the firm’s acquisition activities in various target markets, including DC, Atlanta, Nashville and Florida. Previously, Ms. Gonzalez worked at Longpoint Realty Partners, where she sourced, underwrote and coordinated all aspects of due diligence as well as performed asset management functions for various retail and industrial transactions. Prior to Longpoint Realty Partners, she worked at TA Associates Realty.

Ms. Gonzalez holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The University of Michigan as well as an MBA from the University of Connecticut School of Business.

Mr. Near serves as Director of Acquisitions and is responsible for managing the firm’s new investment activities in Texas and Colorado. Prior to joining Berkeley Partners, Mr. Near worked on the investment team of RSF Partners, a Dallas-based private equity fund. During his tenure at RSF, Mr. Near oversaw a portfolio of healthcare assets and underwrote new investments on behalf of RSF's series of discretionary real estate funds.

Mr. Near holds an M.M.S. from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a B.A. in Economics & Commerce from Hampden-Sydney College.

Mr. Freeman serves as Director of Acquisitions and is responsible for managing the firm’s new investment activities in Florida. Prior to joining Berkeley Partners, Mr. Freeman worked on the acquisitions and dispositions team a TA Realty, a Boston-based private equity firm, where he sourced, underwrote and coordinated all aspects of due diligence and deal negotiations. During his tenure at TA Realty, Mr. Freeman transacted on multiple product types throughout the Northeast, Southeast, and Midwest.

Mr. Freeman holds a M.S. in Real Estate Development from Columbia University and a B.S. in Finance and International Business and Economics from the University of New Hampshire.

Mr. Saidi joined Berkeley Partners in December of 2010 and is now the VP of Asset Management. He is responsible for driving the business strategy for each property from acquisition to disposition by overseeing all leasing transactions and management activities for the portfolio. Prior to joining Berkeley Partners, Mr. Saidi was involved in several business ventures in real estate and construction.

Mr. Bruno serves as Director of Asset Management and is responsible for overseeing the leasing, operations, property management & performance of industrial assets in Florida, Georgia, Tennessee & Texas. Mr. Bruno has twenty (20) years of Corporate Real Estate experience in Industrial, Office & as a Tenant Rep. Construction Manager.

Previous to Berkeley Partners, Mr. Bruno worked at AIC Industrial, a private real estate investment firm focused on value add & net leased properties. During his tenure, he rose several ranks to become the Director of Asset Management where he managed assets in the southern portion of the United States and led a team of Asset Managers & Lease Administrators. Mr. Bruno managed multiple funds in the aggregate of $1B in assets under management.  Prior to AIC, Mr. Bruno worked for VVA Project & Cost Managers, where he managed projects across the country for multiple clients as a Tenant Rep. Construction Manager. He also worked at CDM Smith as Assistant Manager, Corporate Facilities Planning, where he assisted in the administration and management in all facets of CDM Smith's real estate portfolio of 125 plus office locations.

Mr. Wilkerson joined Berkeley Partners as the Vice President of Property Management in October 2020 and is responsible for overseeing the regional property managers across the Firm. Prior to Berkeley Partners, Mr. Wilkerson was the Director of Operations and Project Management at Paramount Property Company, based in San Francisco.

Prior to Paramount Property Company, he held roles at Clint Reilly Holdings, Snapstarter (as a co-founder, now part of Vinfotech), Standard Pacific Capital and Bloomberg. Mr. Wilkerson received a Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College.

Mr. Ramirez serves as Senior Vice President of Construction at Berkeley Partners. He brings over 20 years of experience in construction management, working his way up from Carpenter to CEO at West Coast Contractors of Nevada, Inc. in Reno, NV. He has overseen multi-million dollar projects throughout all stages including numerous LEED certified projects.

Mr. Ramirez is OSHA/MSHA certified and a member of AGC. He holds a BA in Construction Management from Colorado State University.

Mrs. Sack serves as Regional Director, Property Management for Berkeley’s Western Regional Portfolio. Her responsibilities include leading property management teams in the region, client service excellence and developing strategies to ensure each property meets their budgeted financial and operational performance objectives.

Before joining Berkeley Partners in 2019, Mrs. Sack was with Etkin Johnson Real Estate Partners for 15 years where she served as an Asset Manager.  Mrs. Sack is a third generation Colorado native and studied business at the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder and is actively involved in CREW Denver, serving on several committees, as well as several community organizations.

Mr. Hunter serves as Regional Director, Property Management for Berkeley’s Southeast Regional Portfolio

Mr. Hunter began his career working for Colliers-Atlanta where he managed retail properties recovering from the 2008 recession. After Colliers, Mr. Hunter joined Safeway Group, a private equity retail owner and developer, where he primarily focused on the company's construction, accounting, and acquisitions/dispositions. Following his time at Safeway Group, Mr. Hunter worked for Sterling Organization, a private equity company focusing on retail redevelopment. At Sterling, Scott managed a portfolio of retail properties, including a 650,000 SF enclosed mall. Mr. Hunter managed landlord construction projects and was involved with small shop leasing as well as redevelopment construction.

From Sterling, Mr. Hunter joined Brixmor Property Group, a publicly traded REIT investing in retail real estate. At Brixmor, Mr. Hunter managed a portfolio of approximately 2 million square feet of grocery and department store anchored shopping centers. Mr. Hunter created and implemented his portfolio's OPEX and CAPEX budgets to meet Brixmor's forecasted NOIs.

Mr. Kenny joined Berkeley Partners in 2020 and serves as Regional Director, Property Management for Berkeley’s Northeast Regional Portfolio. Mr. Kenny has been in the Greater Boston Commercial Real Estate industry for over 15 years.  Prior to working at Berkeley Partners, Mr. Kenny was employed with OneBeacon Insurance Group and Jumbo Capital Management.  During his time in the industry, Mr. Kenny has worked on helping real estate firms grow their portfolios, build property management teams, manage day to day operations, negotiate leasing, and build great tenant relationships. 

Before commercial real estate, Mr. Kenny worked aboard commercial ships across the globe as a marine engineer serving in the Merchant Marine.  Mr. Kenny has a strong background and experience in engineering, management, and customer support.

Mr. Kenny holds a BS in Marine Engineering from Massachusetts Maritime Academy.
